The short version
Cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your current paid period. We do not pro-rate refunds for the unused portion of the current period. If something genuinely went wrong on our side, email us.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Open the Stripe Customer Portal (linked from your subscription confirmation email or the app's account settings).
- Click "Cancel subscription".
- Your access continues until the end of the current paid period. We do not bill again after cancellation.
When we issue refunds
We will refund (in full or in part, as appropriate) when:
- You were billed in error (for example, a duplicate charge).
- The Hosted features (the lifted feed cap, auto-organize, smart filters, or offline prefetch) were unavailable for an extended outage caused by our service.
- You purchased a subscription, never used any Hosted-only feature, and contact us within 14 days of purchase. Note: using any Hosted-only feature (subscribing to a feed beyond the Free cap, running auto-organize, creating a smart filter, or enabling offline prefetch) constitutes use, and (for EU/EEA consumers) explicitly waives the EU 14-day withdrawal right under Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. See Terms § 6.
When we do not issue refunds
- For the unused portion of a paid period after a cancellation, unless one of the cases above applies.
- For annual subscriptions cancelled mid-year, unless one of the cases above applies. Cancel before renewal if you do not want to be billed again.
- For dissatisfaction with features that were clearly advertised before purchase.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with your Stripe customer ID (visible in your subscription confirmation email or in the Customer Portal) and a brief description of what happened. We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued via Stripe to your original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days.
Statutory rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights. The mandatory provisions of the law of the operator's domicile (identified in our Impressum) apply. For EU/EEA consumers, mandatory EU consumer-protection rules (Directive 2011/83/EU and national implementing legislation) continue to apply.
